AE6 Solar LED Street Light
The AE6 Solar Street Light is our brightest and most powerful street light, providing outstanding performance even in the winter months. Since introducing the first solar-only permanent street lights, over 13 years ago, to the UK market, we have now installed tens of thousands of lights nationally, all engineered specifically for the UK. Providing year-round, permanent solar street lighting which is simple to install and requires no external electrical power.
With solar panels varying from 150W to 300W and a battery capability of up to 2,458Wh, this module is optimal for lighting large outdoor public areas. It is also possible to upgrade your setup to 2 lights and 2 panels to provide further output should it be required – that’s double the performance!
The light delivers sustained and reliable all-night power by integrating key electronic components. Efficiency is optimised and reflective solar energy is captured with double-sided monocrystalline PV units. Smooth and responsive dimming is enabled using a Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) smart-controller that activates via the motion sensor built into the system. Our PIR system is a unique industry offering, providing a 3-PIR sensor for wider motion detection, giving up to 20m detection; 15m forwards and 12m either side.
Pre-programmed LED power outputs enable usage of smaller batteries and solar panels whilst continuing to provide sufficient light as required. A dual and innovative LiFePO4 lithium-ion battery system withstands repeated charging and discharging cycles. The world class LED chips ensure up to 15 years of crisp and bright illumination.
The lights can be installed on columns up to 12m. With our street light system being a split-type, we recommend our products are fixed at a static angle for compliance and wind-loading. In some instances, in Northern Scotland for example, a more acute angle may be required and we have engineered a bracket to enable this. Variable angle brackets are liable to not be compliant for wind loading and we suggest to avoid these.

The AE6 is a high-quality, year round, solar powered LED system and provides permanent lighting without the need for external electrical power.
The AE6 can be installed easily, quickly and economically. There is no need to install cable trunking or dig trenches. This means that installation costs can be halved compared to conventional mains power alternatives. We offer installation services for our solar street lamps, as well as supply columns, as specified.
The only light offering detection for a wider range of motion. Our specially-developed smart light controller and Passive Infra Red (PIR) sensor works to ensure the solar LED light lasts from dusk until dawn, even on the darkest days and are proven to operate throughout the UK winter, as tested in Scotland!
